How to remove facelift hu

It might of been asked before but i cant find it on the site but how do you remove the hu out of a facelift vectra ive tried and tried but cant do it anyone that can help would be appreciated

Has it got 4 allen key bolts on each corner ?
If so they need removing , then you need the double din removal keys , or coat hanger etc and insert them , then pull firmly to release.

undo the 4x 2.5mm allen bolts, then with stereo key's into the holes, then slightly pull them out woulds to the sides and give it a tug, but the can be very tight

Sometimes it needs a good jiggle from side to side.

My cd70 doesn't have bolts? I just got some of the pullers off ebay, banged them in and pulled!

sorry i should of mentioned it is the 6 disc changer hu. Where are these aleen key bolts ive had a good look and cant see them anywhere

Some have them, some dont, there are 4 holes visible on the front of the stereo, do you have the pins to insert , pull each one outwards ( left to the left & Right to the right) and then pull towards you, metal coathangers do the same job, just have to shape them into a horse shoe shap

You'd be better off getting a pair of stereo removal tools like these , http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PC5-110-Vauxha...3A1%7C294%3A50 also take out the top switch blanks to give something extra to pull on, I had the CDC40 out of my Design Vec several times to do a few mods
