Front Door Speakers-Vec-B

One of my front speakers is now absolutely KO'd, so im thinking I may aswell upgrade to something else.

Can anyone help me with this.....I want to replace for a decent but cheap pair of front speakers, that will be a direct fit into the vec-B front door speaker space.

I dont want to do any cutting and shutting, etc, just a straight froward swap.

Any idea's?

If not, can someone recommend me some decent well priced speakers that would fit straight into my front door's and run off a standard CD Player which is 45 x 4.

i got a vec b as well and was hoping some one would answer the question too as i need the same info
i know that with some speakers you need an adapter plate so the window clears the speakers on the way down

When i wanted replacement speakers i went to my local car audio centre and they advised me what speakers would fit my car.

I wanted to change the cavalier speakers and they said the speakers were ok and the stereo wasant powerful enough to drive the speakers.

But go and see your local car audio as they will be the best to advise you

I just bought a pair of 2nd hand: Pioneer TS-G1615 dual cone 16cm speakers off the bay last night.
