    Question tinting rears

    iv got a spare set of rear lights and i fancy tinting them is it just a case of spraying them with tint spray

    Yep, thats the way to go mate, easy job to do, keep your distance and spray evenly

    Give em a quick rub down with fine grade emery paper, i warmed mine up with the trusty hairdryer prior to spraying, you need to do it in a warm enviroment too, stops them going dull.hth.

    The tinting spray should dry glossy. I just give mine a quick polish and wax.

    lots of light coats, i made the mistake of not doing this so ended up having to buy new lights because it went on to thick

    i'm not to bothered if i make a mess of them i will only be practising really cause they are spare

    if they work out well i might just stick them on the car

    Are they the orange tipped ones? If they are i would give the top of the orange reflector a couple of coats of matt black, it gets rid of the orange without going to dark with the tint, the light doesn't shine through the top anyway just the back.

    no they came off my elite they are clear tipped
