confused Blown turbo advice needed !!

Well my 1.9 cdti 150bhp has now gone and obliterated the turbo !

Now spent £3400 on repairs from the 10th of febuary and my patience (and wallet) are begining to wear thin , had a clutch, flywheel, inlet manifold, timing belt thermostat new shocks springs discs and pads all round new rear anti roll bar bushes and rear upper control arms then the drivers window regulator snapped and the turbo blew !!

Problem is the new turbo is now on but the car still wont start the mechanic has tried for 2 days (he is a usually good independant)!

Does any one know if the tech 2 is needed to reprogramme the engine after this work has been done ??

    Thanks in advance
    Andy

Turbo doesn't need tech2 mate not sure why it wont start unless he's left a wire off or the turbo could of done more damage than first thought

Was any of the fins broken off ? tbh i think you would of been lucky not to damage any thing else best to check the fins on turbo and you might be best taken head off that's my opinion but some one else might tell you different

Never got to see the broken turbo as dealers who delivered new one took it straight away to avoid the surcharge dont know if mechanic paid it any attention

Bit strange the first thing i would do would be to check fins to make sure none were broken as they would of got sucked into engine,I'm sorry mate but without the turbo to check you would have to assume that the turbo blew and damaged your engine coz if it was just the turbo and assuming the garage have fitted it right there should be no reason why the car shouldn't start

obliterating the turbo could have blocked the cat solid and stop it running
