Unreserved apology in order to Vx Dealer

All,
I am eating Humble Pie.
I owe Curtis Motors, Dalgety Fife an apology for something I posted on this forum last week.
I thought they had fitted a tyre to my car at the end of 2007 with a tyre manufactured in 2004. This morning I went out to check all dates of all my tyres and it turns out when my car was involved in an accident last year, the body shop must have swapped the front tyre to the back and vice versa during the repairs.
Therefore the tyre that Curtis fitted in 2007 was manufactured in 2007.
Doh!!!

What the , Just joined and that's your attitude, this is a friendly forum m8 and the rest of us don't tend to speak to other members like that.

ok so thats probably not the right thing to say on a forum like this, however, come on guys he's got a valid point...people shouldn't go on forums slating other people,dealers,shops etc without making sure they have all the facts and 100% sure of the allegations they are going to make? and yes i know he's made an apology but would it not have been better to get all the facts before posting? has the damage not already been done?
having said that i think there are lessons to be learned from this and commend you for making the apology anyway...i'm sure not everyone would have done....
