Indeed coolant level
Yep, that is coolant level - You need to top up Anti-freeze is normally better than water unless you mix it correctly...
Last thing you want is an alloy head melting
Could be a warning that your cars on its side!!
Ah right of course i see the problem now...
Remember that you should only top-up the coolant on a level surface, maybe if you put your car flat on the floor then the light may actually go out as the coolant may register correctly when level
Until you drive on twisty roads , then the light will re-appear ! LOL

lol cheers guys, ive now put the car back on its wheels and its fine!
the light is actually still on after several re starts and it is on level ground, just a little worrying if its using water? does anyone else have to top thiers up?, ive never had a car that uses water
No you should not have to keep topping it up, have you noticed that your temperature gauge has been moving around a bit funny over the past couple of days/weeks?
You need to top up the resiviour [spelling] between the min and max marks - I think they still exist, to be honest I have not 'as yet' looked under the bonnet properly
Just keep an eye on the level over the next couple of days/weeks and see if it goes down, if yes, then you need to find the leak, easiest way of this is park the car up somewhere dry and leave it idleing wait for it to get hot a couple of times for the fan to cool it down and see if you have a drop of water?
I only had that come up after dealer replaced radiator and level had settled overnight.
Just topped up, ok ever since.
