Default are uprated shocks with standard springs worth it?

ever since fitting my vec b mudflaps ive noticed the car seems too bottom out quite easily and so im wondering if uprating the shocks too bilstein spec on standard springs is worthwhile? im happy with rideheight on standard springs and 19s and springs are brand new anyhow so id be looking tooo just change shocks only, the car has done 58k so shocks are probably goosed anyway hence mudflap rubbage, thoughts please dudes

Nav XP - is that running the same ride height as SRi? If so then you should be able to put on the Bilsteins and notice an improvement. I wouldn't put them on standard springs if they're the Elite type.

Firstly you could raise the mudflaps. As regards body roll, i thought that was controlled by the springs and not the shocks.

Bilstein B4 shocks on standard SRI springs are just fine IMO.

My car does this too Mark - it is purely down to the height of the flap's, the easiest way to get rid of this is to raise them.

Bilstien B6's are meant to be the one's for the sri ride height but they are expensive and alot of people run the B4's without any hassle

If it came with factory 19s then it'll be lowered to SRi height so the different shocks will be fine on the springs.
