    Default Hall ceiling has come through :(

    And i cant blame anyone else but myself

    I fitted a toilet last night woke up the this morning to see it had leaked a fair bit from the waste pipe to outside

    Not an issue i thought, then the phone rang and i had to shoot off to work
    So i get home tonight and ****** ceiling is a mess

    So im not a happy chappy, just had to put my new wheels up for sale as i need some money quick time

    DITTO... i would claim on ins mate, after all repair would have been made so damaged area will be covered for repair/ replacment

    Plaster board it £6.50 ish from B&Q Bag of Plaster or Artex Undercoat and White paint.

    Hey presto

    About £40 and so so easy to do

    Is that something i can claim for on home insurance as i did it myself lol?
    Im ****ed off as its our first house and ive done a really good job everywhere and let myself down infact no my BOSS let me down asking me to get in to work quick sharp lol

    do you have accidental cover, then if so i can't see why not...

    i did work for various ins companies for year's and still do and i find it best to call the claim's line and say

    '' hello can you help me please'' etc etc that way they are nice to deal with....

    I best have a peek at the documents.
    It might be a knee jerk reaction but as you could geuss i was expecting a nice hot dinner when i got in instead i had a cold front off the mrs and a nice hole as i walked in through the front door lol
    Could of been worse somehow lol
