    Hey Guys,
Has anyone got, or know anyone who has a fault code reader in or near liverpool?
i don't want to pay £88 to vauxhall for the pleasure of finding out why the spanner / car icon keeps coming up!
    cheers

U380 readers are cheap enough, usually around £20 and will tell you what you need to know and then clear it

    Default Got it

So i got the code reader today, plugged it in, and got P0400 up as the fault code, the dreaded EGR fault!
So i cleared the fault, and drove round the block, and the Spanner / car light came up, so plugged in again, but this time no fault code has registered, i'm assuming its the same one though?
So i need to sort the EGR now, don't know whether to sort it myself ( clean out etc ) or whether to take it back to the Garage and get them to put a new one on?
Once they start to fault, is it better to change as they would only keep faulting?
    Any advice would be appreciated,
    Cheers
    Jimmy

Its a 54 Plate, i've had it for 6 weeks now though,
Just want to make sure its working properly, and to get any work done in the 3month warranty period too.
