Before anyone says it i know the sport switch won't do anthing on my car but would it be possible to make it do somthing. The reason i as is i have just bought a steinbauer tuning box for my vec and it has a wire to turn it on/off. How easy would it be to wire this box into the sport switch. Cheers guys

you will need to find out wether the lead that comes off needs to be earthed to turn the box on or wether it needs a voltage to turn it on. once you have found this out just wire the lead to one side of any switch, it doesnt have to be a sport switch, and the other side to either earth or live and away you go. if you dont understand just PM me and ill talk you through it.

It just needs to be earthed to switch it off. I wanted to use a sport switch as i have the t/c switch and it would be more in keeping with the car.

in that case just connect one side of the switch to earth and the other to the wire. i dont think your switch will light up without adding more wiring to the back of the switch if you wire it up this way. let me know if you get stuck.

Or go really out of left field and wire it up to the heated seat switch...

Or the hazard light switch - might be a bit intermittant though....

im not sure you could wire it up to the traction control switch, unless it uses a negative to turn it off.
