Default Exhaust Manifold for 1.8 VVT

Ok, now the \Vectra has been remapped and rolling roaded, the only possible thing I would think of changing is the exhaust manifold. Has anyone got any experience of doing this change ?

Just out of interest what increase did you get off the remap thinking of doing it myself and did you notice any difference in mpg?

Car was 140.9bhp standard 165.6bhp remapped, it supposed to improve the fuel efficiency, but its early days yet. It definetly drives better and feels a lot more responsive. They did say that after a while the car should achieve 170 bhp

    oh, see your point sorry.

Its trying to eliminate the restrictions of the engine, do you think the inlet will be a restriction ?

I guess the exhaust manifold & cat if they are changed the car should improve by a further 8 to 12 hp in theory.

I posted a similar response earlier, in the total VX mag, theres a page for Dbilas and they say an inlet manifold on a 1.8 can increase it by 32bhp !

Not sure myself, but thats what it says, take a look. (But its a rediculous price)
