Vectra Elite + Colour Display

Hi

I'm getting a Vectra Elite with Colour Display + CCR 2006

Are these compatable?

Has anyone lese gopt a Colour Display but no Sat Nav?

Well i'm shocked at this one. Can't be a colour screen with ccr2006. Why would it be colour when it has nothing to display? Are you sure this shouldn't have a ncdr unit with it.

Display is definatley colour .. I test drove the car without the headunit in it, I rang to ask the supplier what CD was with the car (expecting a NAV one) and was told it was a CCR 2006 ...

But the display is nice , blue and colourful, the car was pre-owned by Vx ... but it appears that the display is colour

Would Vx build a car with a colour display and then fit a CCR 2006?

For the Nav unit is there a separate GPS module on the car somewhere or is it built into the unit itself?

Have they mixed the new screens with old head units. First i've ever heard of this. Sure there not fleecing you?

Hi The car was an ex Vx fleet car ... Registered on 1 Sept 2004, at that time I suppose CCR 2006 was standard for Elite, the car does come with a notification that equipment may be present which is above the listed specification ... suppose this includes the colour screen.

I wonder if I put a Vx Nav head unit into the CCR2006 slot whether I would have Sat Nav or would have to get a separate GPS receiver etc?

Also car says that it has a tracking device attached (sticker in window) ... not too sure what to do about that or whether this is just a deterrent?

It's just a deterrent that Vx does with all it's demos mate. Mine had the same and I checked with Vx and no record was found of any device being fitted.

I'm still a little confused about the colour display and CCR 2006 though ... what 'extras' did you get from your Vx Demo? other than the Tracking Device Fitted sticker?

This seems odd to me, the colour display should not work with CCR2006.
