I really wanted one of these for the Bluetooth connection, but they were too expensive when mrs Andrew went shopping.

If you want Bluetooth in the car and be able to connect an I-pod to it too, the interface is extra, then get one.

If you just want I-pod connectivity for a similair price, then I'd reccomend Alpine 9850. But then I would!!

i got mine for £250 complete with the ip100 i pod adaptor which you need for both the units.

I actually was thinking of selling my unit and getting the p55bt instead as mine only has the blue display.

If you don't need Bluetooth, this is a great alternative:

    http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/102955/rb/18570825104

It's cheap, sounds great (fitted 3 of these for mates and all happy), plays MP3 CDs, has an SD memory card slot to play MP3s off. Best of all it has a USB port that you can plug a memory stick into, or connect your iPod to with no problems at all, 2 of those done for mates wanted it specifically for the iPod/USB interface and they rave about it.
