    Quick question, would let someone with 0 feedback (and a brand new account to boot) win an item of yours on eBay..??

    I only ask as I have something ending very soon, but the currently leading bidder is a new account with 0 feedback... I sent them a message last night but not had a reply as yet

    We all had to start off with a zero Feedback so give them a chance but stipulate that its to be an instant Paypal payment or else

    What value of item are we talking about?

    Obviously everyone has to start somewhere but I'd be wary of a new account bidding on my items. Don't know what feedback you've got but obviously you don't want some newbie to eBay giving you an unjustified neg feedback and you can't suss out their past history as they have no feedback.

    If it was me, and it's a high value item, I'd be tempted to cancel their bid if they don't reply. If it's a small value then I'd probably let it run.

    Its a set of arch extensions, probably be about £50 - I will let it run as like you say, we all had to start off somewhere.

    they might not necessarily win anyways, loads of people bid in the last 60 seconds of an auction (all the smart ones anyways )

    id let it run as well mate as long as he pays up if he wins as said above we all had to start with zero feedback and if everyone cancelled bids with zero feedback ebay would never have been up and running
