Default Do I stand a chance or not.........

I put the Siggy in for it's MOT last week, and I'm happy to say IT PASSED!
However, I got an advisory that the front tyres are wearing badly on the inside edges, which I hadn't noticed as SWMBO normally drives the car.
These tyres were fitted last year at the dealers after my front spring went and wrecked the offside one. They both needed replacing, so I had them both done.
So, the big question. Given that the dealer had fiddled with the suspension and had the new tyres fitted, should they have done the tracking (they obviously didn't). And, more importantly, do I have a claim, given that it's over a year?
    opinions, please!

No harm in asking, don't ask you don't get. If you don't at least you tried.

The tracking should have been done/rectified. If you still have the receipt see if you have been charged for it as it seems obvious that it hasn't been tracked so i'd take it back & ask for some refund on the tyres you bought & get it tracked.

    No luck, I'm afraid.
Changing the springs shouldn't affect the tracking, according to Network Q and the dealer. That, and the year gap means that I don't really stand a chance, as anything could have happened in the meantime. As I have no documented evidence that I asked for the tracking to be done, and they wouldn't have done it without asking me, the ball's back in my court. Serves me right for not checking, I suppose.
So, I guess I'll go back to my friendly independent and get them to do the tracking, and I'll look at Event Tyres for Kumho tyres, I think, unless anyone has cheaper options.
Could have done without it, with two cars both needing servicing and taxing at the same time!

    Oh, well, stuff happens.
