    Is it possible to remove the trip counter button?

    Why, If you do that then you may not be able to reset the serrvice light when it flashes up ?

    I'd like to remove it only temporarily, because I have managed to mess plastic protectant into the instrument panel itself, via the trip counter button. I'd like to vipe it off. I think best way to wipe it off would be via the trip counter button's hole, with a cotton stick.

    I think Bobby T broke his some time back but found it was part of the cluster so a tricky one hth ..........

    That would be easier, I have taken mine out several times. Make sure you use a very good cloth to clean the plastic.

    Not something I have no knowlege of but would apear the last resort & maybe the only way. I am not sure of the outcome with Bobby's, worth waiting to see if Bobby-Tupper picks this thread up or you could pm him hth .............

    I have removed this so many times and it's easy.

    Trying to solve a rattle/creak which only appears when the clsuter is in there and going round a corner.
