    Default insurance companies.

not to sure if anyone has done this before but hey, here goes.....
i have just been looking at the renewal price of my car insurance and got a quote for less than £600 with all mods declared, its from Fluxdirect.
my question is this.... has anyone used this company before and if so how are they???
if people could also stick there insurance provider on and how they think they have been treat by that provider, this would be a help to people looking for policies and getting the cheapest quote from a provider they have never heard of. only a sugestion, you dont have to.

    i will start.
hastings direct, 2006 on my astra1.6. useless company, had a claim that i got no money for, to later find £500 was handed over between insurance companies that i never saw.
admiral,2007-presant, 2.5V6 SRI vec b and 04 2.0L DTI, very cheap and excellent company.

you call admiral excellent, they are bad,if you have an accident even a non fault they treat you bad,i would not touch them if they were the last insurance company on the planet, have you tried www.ecarinsurance.co.uk they also have a modified car policy as well, but you can declare all mods as and when you do them

id have to agree. the f**kers never sent me a re-newal and i completely forgot that the policy was due to end. ended up reintating the insurance and the renewal price was, well tbh utter pish. they wouldnt even let me cancel as i was over my 14 days before i relised. i never even got the new certificate untill a few days ago and the old policy ended on the 29th of last month. there are utter crap. sorry for the rant.

I quite like Admiral, the multicar policy is a good deal as you get 2 cars insured under 1 policy AND BOTH drivers accrue NCD. They also were cheaper than insuring my 2 cars individually.
