Lottery win.. Lucky me.

Like many others the wife and I have been doing the lottery weekly since it started, and have never really won anything other than a few tenna's, and I think we had 4 numbers twice which was only about £25. However this weekend we managed to get 5 numbers, so a nice unexpected win of just over £1700.

I dont think we have ever felt so excited, especially as we had the first 5 numbers drawn on one line, pity that sixth number never came out.... still, it was a very pleasant surprise. First time weve ever really won anything of decent value in our life.

Well we are up in north of Scotland next month for 2 weeks so it will help pay towards this holiday, we tend to have a lot of holidays, best part of retirement!.

It does seem small when compared to the millions for all 6, its actually £1746. We need to find out whether we get paid out by Camelot themselves, as I doubt the stores such as Tesco will pay that much out.. will they? need to find out.
