Default BBCi Player now works with Xbox360

1: Pick a show from the BBCi Player.
    2: Select More Downloads Option
3: Save to Windows Media Player

As soon as you open Windows Media Player on your Xbox360 the television shows are saved under a specific folder and can be played back flawlessly which is beneficial if you would rather watch catch up television on your TV rather than your PC.

Havent ever managed to get the whole media centre thing working on my xbox; when I try to set it up it doesn't like my router, wired connection to wanadoo livebox, or something, but this would be terrific on my panny plasma as I watch iplayer loads on my laptop.

Justdownload from iplayer, then load it into youe media player library, or use something like TVersity to stream it to the 360.

Oh, except it doesn't work. streaming through tversity fails because of the 30 day time limit by the looks of it. how pointless.

Ok i tried this out this morning, i tried Robin Hood series 3 Episode 5. Downloaded it to Windows Media Player. My xbox didn't find the file at first as it was saved to a TEMP folder. So i CUT Robin Hood and pasted him into VIDEOS under a new folder name.

I went back to the Xbox Media Centre under PICTURES and VIDEOS and there was my new TV Folder with Robin in.

So yeah theres a slight bit of messing around with some cutting and pasting of the download but once you have your TV file sorted it seems to work no problems.

Ooh, will have to try this later! Been waiting for them to make it compatible with the Xbox 360!

Sound like for it to work without the cutting and pasting faff, the folder for the iPlayer downloads has to be the default one i.e. in a folder in My Videos.
