Question I want to improve my vecs performance....

    Hi Guys,

I currently have a 2007 Vectra Exclusiv 1.8 VVTi, and I am looking for any suggestions on increasing horsepower ... from simple things to expensive things ... I've had a look around the forums and there's a few things but wanted to get some direct suggestions and find out if they would be worth the hassle doing? ...

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

    Cheers!

Leave your money in your pocket and next time you buy a car, buy a faster one. there's really not much you can do.

EDS do a remap. £450 from Midpoint, brings it up to 155hp.

Then again, some VVT's are a bit stronger than others. Mine goes particularly well, shame it seems to be dying.

Get a K&N panel filter (not the cone/induction kit) and regularly use a good fuel injector cleaner to clear out the carbon deposits in the engine.
