Default My DVD Player/Games Console Install

I've been umming and arring for a while now as to wether or not to fit a DVD player to the headrests. The thing that has mostly put me off is the price, normally starting from around the £100 mark, and also the fact that it won't get used much.

About 2 days ago i spent the day trawling the internet looking for a good deal but were all averaging £120 ish.

But i finally stumbled across a deal on Amazon and it cost me £10.89!

How much you say? Well, i've cheated a bit. Here is the install.

I wrapped the wire underneath the plastic headrest support, loosened the rear of the seat cover on the right hand side, fed and put the excess wire in the seat and resecured the cover.

It's an awesome little bit of kit for the money. The sound from the built in speakers is very good and it also comes with 2 sets of headphones that has an in line remote control for volume, pause/play etc and a nice little carry case.

    Well impressed for the money!

    Paul.

    Looks good.

Can the wire not come out under the plastic by the headrest poles not half way up the seat?

Yep, will do this at a later date. (After the qualifying at 11)!!!

There again, i can watch it in online the car on TVCatchup whilst doing the job!

Did try it yesterday but i'd need to lossen the whole of the cover and didn't have time.

    A job for later then.

Thanks for the comments so for guys.

    Paul.

It took me a minute to put the cable down the headrest pole insert, not sure if there is enought room on the outside of the insert. I undid both clips and pushed a stiff wire down and put my hand under the seat to find the end. I then taped the cable to the wire and pulled it down slowly.

It was funny as there was a guy outside watching saying you will never do that and a minute later it was in. His face was a picure.
