    Default how low can you go

    how low can i drop my vectra c ive bought coil overs and would like to know my limits before setting them. what kind of gap could i leave between tyres and arch. im running on 19in snowies.

    dont do it mate , i had coilovers and snowflakes and had them on for 10 months, did a gearbox in and the front coilovers broke after being under that much strain

    on the vec b they were fine -70mm'ish allround, im going for these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/COIL-OVER-COIL...3A1|240%3A1318

    the same i had on the b.
    and im going as far down as poss on 18's.
    im going to be having to park the car at the end off my mates road though coz he's got mahoosive speedbumps.

    im on KW coilovers, about 75mm ish alround.
    Ive got merc alloys, 19"x8.5 with ET35, and 225/35 tyres. i used to have slight rubbin when cornering, but i just pulled the arches slightly and have had no problems since. Im guessin u have 235/35 tyres, slightly wider so u may get scrubbin is u go down too far!

    When do I need to use drop links they are fitted and seem to be getting a little knocking

    drop links only cost about £10, so its worth changin them if u think there knocking.
