    Default Exhaust Brackets Have Snapped

    TBH i dnt actuly know whats holding on my exhaust. i know that the hangers at the cat have snapped off and i preaty sure there are more missing too. can a garage weld some new ones onto the car or am i truly ****ed

    i would weld them back on m8, but a garage might try and sell you a new one instead

    sell me a new what, exhaust?. its the hangers atached to the car that have came off. sorry if i never made that clear in the original post lol

    mine had gone on the centre section when i had my MOT recently and originally i got told it needed a new section but the mechanic managed to repair them as the exhaust itself was fine. So it can be done mate.

    yep thats how we first descovered the issue. the guy re welded them and within 2 weeks they had snapped again.

    Thats the two options m8, get em all re-welded or buy a new exhaust, glynn was right, some garages would rather sell u a new exhaust than perform a cheap fix so stand firm
