    Default Failed MOT...

..on my number plates. Not spacing, not wierd letters, no strange backgrounds or shading just no standard symbol in the corner. Had them made up at a car show last year.

Luckily I had a correct set in the boot.

Examiner let me just put them on over the top with a couple of elastic bands.

So they wont pass a car with no tiny symbol in its plates, but will pass it with plates that are stuck on with elastic bands..... go figure

Yeah, and not only that they just said

"wait till the car is off the ramp and out of the garage before you remove them...it's the law!!"

I paid £54 last week, as it was the only place I could get it in. My 'usual' place only charge £40
