    Default A smear left over car after washing in light?

    After i clean my car i get a smear look all over the car? guess its summat ive done like polish it in the sun As im due a clay,polish, seal, and a wax should i try "panel wipe" to remove anything in/on paint work to leave it clinically clean as if ready for spraying?
    Car is black and now looks a mess

    Craig Could be you have too much polish on the car, get your self some mequiars paint cleaner , and do just one panel and then compare it with an adjacent panel . you should also only apply polish to a cool surface .

    I used AG srp. Trouble is my cars surface feels hot even on cloudy days. Such a pain in the arse! I'll give that paint cleaner ago, sounds safer than panel wipe.

    try putting the polish on with a damp cloth and polish and buff one panel at a time.
