I use the MK 1 eyeball....... corrected with a lens infront made from plastic held there with thin strips of metal.
should have gone to.................specsavers
The Mk1 Eyeball does not warn you in advance, although the 'Mk1 Brain Cell' MIGHT. The beauty of a detector is that it informs you of an upcoming camera that you had not come across before, or REMINDS you of one which your Mk 1 Brain Cell may not remember in time. It only takes one lapse of concentration to be caught by a camera, the detector just helps to maintain that concentration.....and cruise control helps you maintain an appropriate speed, in addition to your right foot.
IMO Camera Detectors, standalone or built in, are a worthwhile investment.
