    Default Clean the car

    Hi ALl,
Looking at leaving work a touch early today and cleaning the moter and popping to halfrauds. I normally just clean with car shampoo and then give it a turtle wax nothing extravagant, but i have noticed the paint work is dull across the car but i am unsure as to whether or not this is just the colour of the car. it is the silvery blue colour (below).

What could i have a go at to try and spruce it up, thought about the clay.

    Cheers
    Andy

Yes get some clay and read the posts about it. If you haven't done it you will be amazed at how much better it will look afterwards.

Its not too much hard work mate, just take your time and don't drop the clay.
Make sure you polish or seal/wax afterwards though to protect the paint.

My favourite part of detailing as you can see and feel the results very quickly. Then give it a re-wash. If you're doing a polish which I would that's gonna be elbow grease time. Then finish it off with a good wax.
