went for a drive this morning SWMBO gets in the passnger seat close's the door but the warning light in the rev counter is saying that her door is still open and the interior light stays on.
Any ideas and solutions greatlt appreciated

mine used to do this, something to do with the sensor on the door near the hinge if i remember, i cleaned and lubed the lockin mech, and the hinge end, and i was fine
i looked for a sensor but couldn't see anything, just the wire connector from the door to the car. i disconnected that and tried to clean it made sure it was reconnected properly but no change
try cleaning and lubing the mech and work it by hand
cheers for the tips fella, i will give this ago.
mine did the same took the fuse out for interoir light, put it back and fault had cleared
