    Default CDC40 and ipod connection

Hi all, I am looking to enable my ipod to be playable through my CDC40 6cd/radio. Any recommendations as to use a fm modulator or hard wire something else. I would also prefer my ipod to be able to get charged when in use.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
    Cheers

I use a Parrot MKi9200 and a Ipod classic and with the latest Parrot firmware I haven't had any problems. Only gripe is finding an album can be a pain as I have too much on it. You are meant to be able to skip letters by using the arrows but I couldn't get it to work and just scroll for ages. I have my stuff in playlists so no problem.

Not cheap but with the right lead they are plug and play ish. You just need to pick up the switched ignition from the fag lighter socket.

I'm gonna have to say it - have you searched on here at all? Try 'cdc40' and 'ipod' and you'll get a lot of hits.

I did it with an FM modulator from scratch. It's good sound, controlled from the ipod and it gets charged too. I think if I was doing it now, I'd go for the Mki9200.
