    Default Glove Box removal

I'm sure one of you can help here.

How do I remove the glove box to see if I have the prewiring in place for a mobile phone?

I'm having a nokia carkit installed by work and I just want to know if the prewiring is present in the vectra.

    Thanks

Easy. You just need to get at all the Torx screws around the glovebox.

First, remove the ones visible below the glovebox. Then, open the glovebox and remove the ones visible under the opening.

Don't forget to detach the light otherwise it will pop out with the glovebox and possibly damage the wire.

Once unscrewed, the whole lot just drops out of place by hand.

    HTH!

If you haven't got the phone loom there an aftermarket audio lead can be fitted to still route the audio through the stereo, infact I made one the other day using 3 wires & 2 pins from an old VW lead. Aterwards I realised I could of done it without using pins but much safer using them.
