Default Best way to enable iPod in my 07 SRi-Nav?

I'm looking into getting a more permanent (and reliable than iTrips etc) solution to getting my iPod working in my Vectra.

I'm pretty sure the CD70 in my Vectra is a little too old to have the Aux connector on the back (it certainly doesn't have the aux jack below the heater controls) .

I've looked at replacing my old Parrot with a Parrot MKI-9200 which should (hopefully) work better than an iTrip as it's physically plugged in to the aerial connector of the CD70.

Anyone have any advice if this is the best way to go, or are there better solutions out there for iPods and pre-aux CD70s?

    Thanks in advance

    Mr Poons

That's the way I'd go now.

I fitted an FM modulator from scratch - or there is the Dension Ice Link which works the same way. The parrot doesn't go through the aerial (I don't think) it plumbs the music in via the wiring.

I have fitted the Parrot 9200i and its excellent, its wired directly into the stereo not the aerial, cant fault it!

Thanks, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't buying something (or rather work were buying ) that wasn't any good.

Colalowe, have you ever had any issues with the 9200i locking the CD70 in Line-In mode after hanging up a call?

My Parrot 3200 LS-Colour occasionally does it and it's very irritating as it requires an ignition off to clear it. I don't think it's the phone I'm using with it, as it's done it with 2 totally different devices.
