How many Litres of oil does my car need?

As Above doing a service this weekend I think how many Litres do I need will 5 do?

Oh cars 2.2 Direct 05 plate

Just had my 1.8vvti serviced and the bill shows they used 4.25litres on mine! Hope that helps

The manual states 5.0l for the z22yh.

if I were you I'd start at half a litre below the required 5.0lt. start with 4.5lt. start the engine and let idle for 5 seconds. then switch it off. Let it stand for 3 minutes and then remove dipstick and re dip to see level. Be aware that between min and max on the stick is 1.0lt. Just keep topping up till required level.

you may find you use exactly 5.0lt but you may find you need more!!!

you may want to buy 2 tubs of oil. think halfords usually do a 2 tub of oil special offer?

strange one this!! did my own oil change , dealer gave me five litres of which i only used 4.25 sitting perfect on the dip stick.
car was sitting level and was allowed to drip away for bout half an hour
