Recommended second-hand dealer and for service

I've been using Edmondsons at Hesketh Bank near Southport ever since I moved to Lancashire eleven years ago. They specialise in nearly new Vauxhalls and I'm currently on my third Vectra from them. They're a small family business who really seem to look after their customers. I went in for my annual service recently and mentioned that I thought the tyres might be due for replacement. They recommended replacing two but said that the other two had at least 5000 miles left in them. How honest can you get? I just can't imagine going in to many dealers or some tyre specialist and being told to hold on to my cash for a few months longer. But then, just another good example of the service I've had from them over the years. If you're fed up of main dealers and you live around here, give them a try!
