    Default park pilot wont work

recently after replacing my front bumper on the zafira i had to get az new
bumper harness and park pilot sensors to fit onto the new facelfit bumper, all
fitted and now the system wont work, ive repalaced the origional bumper
with the origional sensors and harness and again it wont work although it
did before i replaced the front bumper, ive checked the fuse etc but all ok,i
had it to me m8`s yesterday for tech2 and no faults or error codes were
found, the harness plug for both bumpers for park pilot are identical, the
foglamp harness is also incorporated with park pilot harness but the
foglamps on both bumpers work perfectly but i really cant understand why
the park pilot system aint working, ive also checked for damage on the new
harness but the old one will not work neither.

the rears wont work as due to the fault as its all inter linked, the battery
doesnt need dis-connecting as i done the signum same way, control box
can`t be faulty as it was working ok before i removed the old bumper etc

all im getting is a bleep sound from park pilot everytime i put the car in
reverse and the warning light comes on and the switch lights up,ive dis
connected thr front sensors and fully re installed them but still the same.

im so annoyed over this as all ive done is changed the front bumper to the
    new style and this happens.

    anyone have any suggestions ????

I think from the description one of your sensors is getting a false "there's something right in front of me!" reading. this could be from too thick paint, or dirt on the sensor, particularly between the disc and ring pieces.

Hmm, yes. sounds as though it must be a short somewhere in the loom then. are the front sensors connected to the module by the REC or is there a module under the bonnet?

the control module is in the rear rec,the harness plugs together behind the
front bumper as thats were ive only un plugged it from and then re
connected the new harness on the new bumper to,ive only purely touched
    the front bumper.

really cant understand that the old sensors or new sensors don`t work.

but however the fogs on the old bumper work fine aswell as the new fogs
    in new bumper

All i can suggest is bumper off and inspect/reseat the harness. may also be worth checking there's no short between the front harness and REC.
