you can order a new key from the main stealer just use the key number on the car pass and you will get a new flip key as they no longer sell the old fixed type key trade price is about £45 (retail is about £120 +) but they will charge upwards of £25 to code the key to your car (unless you do it yourself with cop-com software or similar

    Default Key & Fob

I have just purchased a key with chip & a 3 button fob from separate Ebay sources.............can I get Vx stealers to reprogram (original 2nd key misplaced, so can't swop blades over)?

    Default Key parts

sobering lesson.......... only £6 to cut new blade at locksmith, then down to Vx dealer to Tech 2.................. first, wouldn't prog as new blade has chip, but mine doesnt. Mechanic kindly riped said chip out. Try again........ failed again & again...........mechanic suspects that the 3 button fob is from an Omega or other model, and this wont compute......... changed new blade onto old fob - no problem, so must be new fob......... now have to try & get refund from ebay dealer

    Now, does anyone know different?

Does anyone have an underbonnet fuse box, prob from a 54/05 plate Sig or Vec with upmarket spec. Part No. 93184292 Code "EF" ??
This is for my 05 Siggy.

Pretty sure it's been mentioned on here before if the replacement fob is 2nd hand and previously programmed, then it can't be programmed to another car.
