    Default Location of boost valve

I am wanting to clean the boost valve on my 56 plate 150 cdti. Can anyone advice as to its location and how to remove and clean.

    Any pics would really help.

    Many Thanks

not a stupid question, what you do is unscrew the bolt, pull off the connector, and the pull the sensor towards the windscreen whilst rotating it

and it will just pop out, you will see a little cage with a piece of metal that looks like a piece of rice (sorry thats about as technical as i get)

you need to clean with something electrical contact cleaner to remove all kak round it, be very carefull with it though quite fragile

well all done. Gave it a spray with carb cleaner but it didnt actually seem that bad. Better to do it know though i thought as opposed waiting until it really needed doing.

    Thanks for all the replies.
