    Default Megs Quick Detailing Spray

Other than it's use as a lubricant for claying, what/how is this used for anything else?

I used it on the morning of our last North West meet.

I had cleaned my car on the saturday and applied a coat of paste wax and then a spray wax. It rained overnight, so there was water beads on the car. I used Quik Detailer to clean the car off. Note: you don't need to necessarily dry the car before using it. In my opinion it's an essential part of any kit. Big Phil also had good use of it at the meet to perform a quick detail on his Black Beauty.

its actually meant as a quik detailer, but doubles up as a lube for the claying.

Say youve just washed and polished your car the day before PVS. it looks great.

You come out the next day and its covered in a layer of dust. You can use the QD to bring it back to as it was when you polished it. Simply spray the QD on the car and wipe over with a microfibre cloth. The lubricants in the QD are meant to stop it stratching you paint. Obviously i fthe car is caked in mud, dont try this but for light dusting or after a rains hower its perefect.

Some people like to wash/dry their car and spray some QD over it to make it Shine. Bryan (BLR) does something similar but adds spray wax after each wash.

Ive just bought some poorboys QD+ which is basically the same as spray wax. Its like a Quick detailer with wax in it. It dries to a haze on the car and just wipes off with one pass of the cloth. Im totally convinced by it. Made my car really shiny, although lost some of the 'pop' of the metalic flake. Definetly gonna use it at PVS when i cant be arsed to fully wax it again.

its what i started with when i first started using QD's. I've tried a few now and to be honest, not noticed any real difference between any of them. I often go back to the either of the meguiars QD's as they rarely leave streaks. You can make your own QD though. Simply dilute a good car shampoo very thinly with water and use that from a garden sprayer etc

What do you use it on inside? Plastic/vinyl trims etc but not upholstery?
