Default Help, the back ligth and back door not working after using hanger

I Drove my vectra - c 2005 1.9 cdti for about 100 meters with a hanger on and sudenty i got an error message in the display "Please check the rear left blinker" And guess what .

Blinker dont work, Rear driving ligths are 1 working and the other is lighting on The brake ligth in stead of on the driving light posission, the brake ligth dont ligth when breaking. The back dor on the electric "trunk" (boot) wont open at all, No sound of it trying open at all. and the hanger is dead. tryed another hanger, but now its no ligths at all.

Checked every fuse in every one of the 3 fuse rooms, and everyone is working.

And in the room at beside the tire is a "Contact" to the electrical on the hanger, Removed it but it did not help.

    Any one know whats wrong?

Sorry for my baad english am from norway

Was your car ok before you put the "trailer" (henger) on the back. Try disconecting the towbar electrics. There should be a plug/connector in the boot somewhere. See if that makes any difference to the working of the lights.

    Default I found the error

    Thank you all for Advices!

If someone else ever gets this error, ill found the error at fuse 11 in the Rear fuse box.

kenp: Thanks Wrote under what i did in norwegian, if you find it usefull you can translate it

    Norwegian:

    Feilkilde: Brudd i sikring 11,

    Feil:
Baklysene ble redirecta til andre lykter, og blink lyset på venstre side virket ikke. kun 1 av 3 bremselys virket. og Bakdøren ville ikke åpne seg.
Feilen kom etter at jeg hadde kjørt med henger.

    "What i did":
Gikk først over sikringene med ohm meter, men fant ingen feil, Pusset og vasket over lykteinsatsen på venstre side bak. startet bilen og testet, fortsatt feil, gikk over sikringene med ohm meter (måle resistansen) en gang til og fant feil på sikring nr 11. (25Amp)

    Translation:

Solution, fuse i REC nr. 11 was broken

Error: Rearlights was diverted into the otherlights, som that only 1 out of 3 breaking lights was working, and reardoor (boot) wouldt open, after been driving with trailer.

What was done: first tested all the fuses with a "ohm" meter, didnt find any error, washed and polished the headlight (where the bulps go), started the car and tested, still error, went through the fuses againg to messure resistance, found error on Fuse 11 in REC.

So, essentially Fuse position 11 in rear electrical box had blown?

Sounds like a problem with the wiring of the trailer has blown this fuse.
