Common As Muck!

Driving on the A1 this morning between Morpeth and Durham I passed no less that a dozen Silver Vectra C's and also a few others of varying colours. Is silver the colour of choice? It must be in the North East. In all I reckon about 20 Vectras I passed during my trip. Anyone on that stretch of A1 this morning?

Not me, but I do have a Silver Vectra, but I'm not common though.

I think it's the most common colour I see. That's partly why I went for red. I love the look of the Vec in silver but have only seen about 3 others that look like mine in about 7 months of ownership

thats why i went for a black one this time had silver last time and like to change colour with each new car

silver was supposed to be the new white. Nice colour but, a bit samey perhaps. safe bet for resale though !

when i was going up the A1 silver was what mostly seen aswell.to be honest a think when i was on it,i was the only black vectra i'd seen on the road,seen a couple of other colors.might be wrong though and just forgotten bout the black ones.

I bought Silver as it always looks clean

I like silver but it's very common in most cars. Dark Blue is usually my colour of choice but went for Sapphire Black with the veccy.

Silver is easy to keep clean and hides scratches quite well imo compared with dark colours.

My old car colour was great for looking clean when actually filthy - Moonland, and looks quite nice too

Same as mate. Too many silver and bland coloured cars on the road IMO. Red stands out from the crowd
