VXR exhaust system fitted to 1.9 CDTI

Well me and my mate got it done this morning and there are pics as promised. I've kept my original CAT and fit everything from the VXR onto it. It looks sooo much better and sounds better. And the throttle response is better too . I had a smile on my face when i left

Pics (sorry car really needs a wash....about to go and do it now)

Took everything off from the CAT....



Stood it up out of the way...



Then we chopped the end (including bracket) off the original centre box section and chopped the end off the VXR centre box section...



Then he welded the original box section end onto the new VXR box section...



And voila all just bolted together with no problems and no leaks. All i need to do now is give her a wash

Now I've seen these and the "copy" VXP pipes, I think I will be going oval/round - as these look soooooo much better than any of the copy ones
