    dint know where to ut this lol
    does anyone know the difference between the 1.9cdti 120 and the 1.9cdti 150?

    the 120ps engine is an 8 valve engine ad the 150ps engine is a 16 valve engine

    i have the 120ps engine

    well i have the 120 and was gonna see bout puttin a 3.0litre v6 in but if a new head is all i need to go up to 150brake mght just do that but dunno if 16v head will jst go straight on lol

    not worth putting a v6 in there. May as well buy a petrol! Why not just map the one you have?
    Now I need a turbo to keep up!

    Thought bout that but dunno what power increase that will give me and how much it would cost

    Apart from the 16 valve head the 150 has a different inlet manifold with 'swirl valves' and obviously the ECU would need tweaking.
    A basic tuning chip costs about £90, can be fitted in 10 mins and will take the BHP up to about 150, a lot cheaper and easier than trying to 'build' a 150.
    A remap can cost about £270.00, this can take the 120 up to 165BHP.
    If you want more it would be easier to sell your 120 and buy a V6 than carry out an engine transplant.
