The signs were there that it was about to have a major problem. Those highly tuned engines can blow anytime.
No problem using a dyno, just need a bit of common sense.

revving super high for a diesel at the end there, by the sound of it.
Must have been very highly tuned... 700 bhp or something silly. They are 6.7 litre some of those dodge cummins diesels.
