A respray your looking at a few hundred quid, so the cost of buying a pot of touch up paint and having a go is worth it, you could save yourself a fair whack if it works if it doesn't then you will have just lost some time and about £10 in paint. Then you get a body shop to fix it.

Fill the scratches with paint layers at a time, once the scratch is proud of the surface wet sand it back with p2500 or p3000 grit wet and dry then polish it up to a shine and it should look pretty close to the normal finish.

The main thing is getting the correct paint match, the best way is to get a paint place to mix up the paint as per the paint code on the car a good paint place will know where to find it if you can't there are lots of black paints and they aren't the same 20R is black sapphire.

do a search on smart repairs in your area or go into your local garage and ask who does their smart repairs - will be under a £100 to get "blown in "

Try a local spray shop. I paid £120 for my old 04 plate Fiesta Silver to be sprayed after some git went down the side of it!! he scratch went from across the dor to the rear of the car so a lot of blending in was needed too. I was well happy with the end result. couldn't tell owt had been done
