    Default Hands free cradle

    Hi, recently bought a 2003 Vec C 2.0 Dti, its got a hands free kit fitted (as all reps cars do methinks) for a nokia, does any one know which nokias fit these cradles, as my old noccy doesn't. Ta.

    you can buy the cradle to fit your phone.as long as your phone isnt too old

    Most of them are the Cark-91, which takes the (now obsolete) 5110, 6110, 6210, 6310 etc.
    You can get a replacement cradle from people like mobilefun.co.uk.

    Ta lads, how do you get the old cradle off, looks like a big job with wires going into the dash etc.

    Should unclip from the botoom and behind the rubber nokia piece is a screw holding it to the mounting if i remember right

    Its not just a case of unscrewing it.. That cradle will be wired back to the control unit.. I suggest taking out the glovebox ( v easy as Ive done it! ) and all the bits should be really accessible... if youve got a nokia phone anyway.. i suggest getting a nokia CK7w kit ( wired and bluetooth ). again they're about 60 odd quid, then you can get whichever cradle fits your phone .... just a thought anyway
