Default method for a silver vectra.......

    snow foam
    then pw to rinse
    then snow foam
then 2 bucket method using nxt shampoo and lambs wool wash mitt
wash wheels with farecla alloy wheel cleaner
(clay if need be - usual procedure)
    dry with mf cloth
then apply poor boys white diamond
    then apply collie 476s
black trim with megs trim detailer
    tyres with megs tyre shine

touch up using dodo red mist when required.

if the car not very dirty, its possible to use the wash mitt on the second snow foam, only because of the 476s.

not polishing the alloys at the moment because I'm about to change them.

    what do you think?

Very nice result, and very helpful to us other silver owners too.

How do you find the megs trim detailer? I'm looking for a better black trim product as mine never seems to come up great, or last more than a day. Plus I've got a mark of some sort by the nearside rear passenger door window trim that seems to cover for all of, ohhhh, thirty seconds and it's really annoying me!
