    Default Boot Not closing properly

Anyone had probs with their boot on the hatch Vec C?? Mine closes if i give it a good slam but on occasssions it either:-

a). Closes properly but the boot open warning light illuminates in the cluster

b). Doesn't close properly and makes a whirring noise without opening the lock, until I hit it with the side of my hand!!

I'm not spending money to fix it its jst annoying and i wondered if it was a common prob.

    Thanks for looking

    Steve

Have you tried adjusting the stoppers on either side?

It's all to do with the air inside the car. Mine sometimes needs a good slam.

Open a door then close the tailgate and you'll see that it will close much easier as the air has somewhere to escape.

Snowman, you got your ears on?
