full can-bus- since when?

well, i'm interested if anyone knows precisely when did opel/vx start to put full canbus in vectras?

as we all know there are some prefacelifts with full CB but i don't know for sure when did they start doing them?

Seen some 54 plates with full canbus, so roughly end of 2004 beginning 2005...

My 54 plate pre-facelift has full canbus and was registered in September 2004.

all vectra's are CanBus, but with a change with MY2005 - cars made from september 2004 on - the lightswitch, steering wheel controls and all radio's (CDxx-range) and displays were connected to the CanBus (before only NCDC201x and CCRT2008 used the CanBus)

Sorry guys, I've not been a member for long and just wondered..
What is a canbus?
Pardon my ignorance as I have been a ford owner all my driving life, but now i,ve seen the light.. lol
