    Default Cant find anything wrong

Well car went in again to see if they can find the problem causing the P0234 error code (over boosting)

They double and triple checked all hoses / pipes but found no fault, made sure the waste gate was moving freely and greesed it up.
But they never actually found anything wrong and due to the fact it only happens every now and then I can't see it being a pipe / hose.

I guess Im looking at something electronic, the car comes out of limp home after switching it off and on again, so that eliminates the waste gate?

Could people add to my list (with part numbers) of what could possibly cause this code, Im going to assume something is not telling the wastegate to open:

    Possible Cause:

    Boost sensor

had a new MAF recently, does the egr valve control the wastegate, wouldnt this throw up a egr fault code if it was faulty?

EGR as far as i know has nothing to do with the waste gate directly but if it's malfunctioning - very common - it may be causing other components to act strangely.
