if your not in a hurry (which it looks like you are) you can get service parts from ebay at good prices. I hate to admit it but Tesco have a fully synthetic SAE5w-40 oil at £17.50 for 4 ltrs. You could buy 2 for the price most places are selling similar oils. Dont forget a new washer for the sump plug.

    Vehicle : Vauxhall Astra-J

    Trim : Elite

    Engine : 2.0 CDTi

    Year : 2013

    Default

    Oil - http://www.vauxhall.co.uk/vaux/pages...dex.jsp#vectra

If you buy the service kit from www.autovaux.co.uk it'll be a bit cheaper than from Vauxhall but will be the same parts.

Edit - Vauxhall have taken the Vectra listing off for some reason. Anyway, its the same as the Signum 5w/30 fully synth long life

I always use VX service items including oil so If the engine goes bang you have someone to blame and they can't blame anybody as all parts and oils were supplied by themselves. So there is a good tip.
