    Default Airbox Mod

    Honest opinions here guys!

Has anyone noticed a difference in engine performance, be it power, fuel consumption etc after doing the airbox mod?

I did this Mod on my 1.8 LS a few years ago and I noticed nowt!

I now have an new shiny Sri and am undecided about doing the Mod on it

    Your experiences please

    Cheers

wont make any difference to power or bhp mate!

all it does is it makes the air flow more freely in to the air flter housing.. and picks up easier.
it might mate the engine run abit smoother in low gears (1 &2)
i noticed this in mine.. gear change felt smoother!

I concur, just used a normal filter from the stealers though, the car now seems more responsive in lower gears

Agreed, when I had mine done it made no extra power, it just "felt" smoother - well worth it for £0.
